Lisa and Nathaniel Drayton Winter Wedding

Lisa and Nathaniel got married on a cold but sunny winter day in Drayton Ontario. Their morning was relaxed and filled with family and friends. It was a day full of emotions- they laughed, sang, whistled and even had some tears.

Lisa’s mom passed away when Lisa was 8. Not having your mom on your big day is tough, so Lisa wanted to incorporate her memory in the wedding- from the wedding dress to recreating photos of her mom’s wedding day to a visit to the cemetery…

While Lisa, her bridesmaids and her flower girls were getting ready, Nathaniel and his groomsmen arrived at the farm. It was time for Nathaniel to get ready.

Since Lisa was a little girl, she has dreamed of having her wedding at the barn. Well, it was a tad cold for having the wedding there, but it was perfect for the first look.

Ahhh, the first look…

The wedding party joined the happy couple for some impromptu photo fun.

We headed to Drayton to get some wedding portraits done. Special thanks to A La Mode Cafe in Drayton where we took most of the wedding portraits for keeping us warm, well fed and well caffeinated.

Now it was time for Lisa and Nathaniel to tie the knot.

It was a beautiful ceremony with singing, whistling and same laughter. Now it was time to party, but not before we visited a special place…

Lisa’s mom passed away when Lisa was a child. Lisa had to see her mom to tell her of the big change in her life… Needless to say, we all had teary eyes.

We decided to take some pictures outside at the end of the cemetery.

The day was perfect, but it was not over yet. Now it was time for party.

Now, just imagine….

…..what we can do at your wedding….
